Mini Truck Info
If you are in the market for a UTV, why not give a Japanese Mini Truck some consideration?
These little trucks are imported from Japan after being used for a time as short-haul delivery vehicles.
The first question we hear, over and over again: Are they road worthy?
These trucks come equipped with windshield wipers, headlights, turn signals, heat and A/C. So the answer is yes, they are road worthy BUT they are not street legal in PA. There are a few mini trucks on the road in PA with license and registration although it is not an easy thing to do.
Check with your state's department of transportation concerning the possibility of getting a mini truck licensed in your state.
A mini truck is powered by a 45 horsepower, 3 cylinder gas engine. Four wheel drive is a part of each package, many times also offering a high/low gear. Manual transmission is the most common although we can get automatic trucks too.
Averaging up to 45 miles per gallon with an 8 gallon fuel capacity, you're all set to ride in comfort for a good long while. And they'll transport more than just you! The truck bed is four and a half feet wide and six feet long with a payload of 900 pounds.
You may notice that the majority of our trucks are older models. In Japan the emissions taxes go sky high on vehicles over 15 years old, at which point it becomes most efficient for the owners to upgrade to a new truck. Then our supplier will buy these well-kept vehicles and have them imported to the U.S.
Don't forget about customization options! We offer lift kits, all trail tires, hitches, snow plows, and even custom paint jobs for your mini truck. Anything else you'd like to add? Give us a call and we'll do our best!
