Standard Features
  • Raking: In the raking position, the rake wheels overlap front to back moving the crop to the center. Proper raking is obtained by positioning the bends, on both the support arm and the arms with hubs, towards the back of the unit.
  • Ball valves on cylinders: All HRC wheel rakes are equipped with ball valves at the cylinders. Ball valves may be used to rake only on one side or for closing the hydraulic system for transport.
  • Springs: Springs allow for the wheel rakes to have sufficient ground pressure to rake the hay correctly and prevent excessive pressure from lifting up dirt onto the hay.
  • Tapered roller bearings: All wheel rakes are equipped tapered roller bearing mounted in cast steel, greasable hubs. The tapered roller bearings are more durable than the traditional bearings often used by the competition.
  • Upwards bent wheel elbows: RS2 rakes are equipped with upwards bent wheel elbows that allow for increased flow of raked hay through the wheel rake.
